Eligibility & Requirements (Ocoee River Policy)
All rafters must be aged 12 and up. Remember, there are no exceptions and you wouldn’t want your kids to wait out while you raft. While we don’t impose strict weight limits, we recommend our rafters to be below 260lbs for their safety.
Additionally, you should be in good shape and able to balance while seated in the raft. Since rafting is unpredictable, you must be able to swim 100 yards in calm waters, although our PFDs and guides will keep you safe.
All participants are required to sign a waiver before they embark on this trip. If you’re under the age of 18, you must get this waiver signed by your parents or legal guardians.
Cancellation Policy
We have a clear cancellation policy to give you flexibility in your trip booking. If you need to cancel your reservation, it’s important to notify us at least 72 hours before your scheduled Full Ocoee river rafting trip for a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable, but you can reschedule your trip based on availability. Additionally, no-shows will not receive a refund, so be sure to let us know if you can’t make it!
Location
Please check in 30 minutes before your trip time. We ask that you please fill out all waivers prior to arrival. Our Outpost is located at 4599 Hwy 64W Copperhill, TN 37317.

We just love Big Frog-Eric is the best guide
We love our experience with Big Frog. Our family comes to Ocoee each year and Big Frog has been a superior guide service. I think Eric is probably the best guide I have ever experienced. He has incredible energy. He makes the rafting fun and safe. Thanks so much Big Frog

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we do! We offer both cozy lodging and campsites for your convenience. Our lodgings are just a short drive from the river, so you can kick back and relax without going too far.
Not at all! Most of our guests are first-timers. We’ve got pro guides who’ll show you the ropes. Just bring your excitement, and we’ll handle the rest.
Of course! We love groups—friends, families, church outings, team-building events, you name it. Just let us know when booking, so we can set it up for you.
Yep! Rain makes rafting even more fun. The river doesn’t stop flowing for a little rain, and neither do we. However, incase there is lightning or extreme conditions, we would delay the trip until it is safe outside.
No worries, we’ve got you covered! Falling out is part of the fun. If you do fall in (it’s rare but exciting), your life jacket will keep you floating, and your guide will be right there to help pull you back in.
Since the Ocoee River’s flow is regulated by TVA dam releases, the Full Ocoee rafting experience is awesome all year round. The only change is the weather and views. Summer is especially popular for the warm weather and blue skies while fall is loved for the vibrant colours.
